Kevin Semancik is a Theatrical Sound Designer and Audio Engineer based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He holds a BFA in Theatrical Design from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Sound Design from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.

Kevin is well versed in audio system design and optimization - having completed training courses from Meyer Sound, d&b, Figure 53 and Rational Acoustics. He enjoys artistically using advanced technology to help tell stories.

Kevin recently relocated back to Cincinnati from New York City where he served as the Audio Supervisor for Five OHM Productions. He supervised projects for many off-Broadway theatre companies and served as the Head Production Audio Engineer for Second Stage Theater and the Park Avenue Armory. 

In addition to designing and working in theaters, Kevin enjoys training young designers and engineers in professional practices - preparing them to enter the professional work force in a highly competitive and demanding industry. He works closely with Xavier University designing theatrical productions and mentoring technical design students.
