Park Avenue Armory

I am the Production Audio Engineer at The Park Avenue Armory which hosts a wide variety of events and productions from all over the world. I have had the pleasure to work with many artists and production crews from Europe and Asia.

The sheer size of the hall and the wide range of events hosted by the venue requires rigging large format PA systems. I have gotten to work with Meyer Sound, RCF, d&b Audiotechnik, L-Acoustics, and Danley PA systems.

For each production I work closely with the folks at Masque Sound and Recording to specify and engineer complex audio networks and RF systems that stand up to the challenges of working in such a dynamic venue.

Second Stage Theatre

I was the Production Audio Engineer at the Second Stage Tony Kiser Theatre which produced a variety of modern plays and musicals.

Each production required a unique sound system for actor reinforcement and effects.

I worked closely with the sound designers and the folks at PRG to specify each system and design the appropriate networking and distribution for the production.

The small size and unique characteristics of the space very often required me to get creative with speaker rigging and gear placement.
